Welcome to AceTennis.net
This web site has been created specially for tennis-playing friends in Bromley churches who would like to challenge eachother to singles or doubles matches with the added spice of a competition to see who can finish top of the pile by 31st October each year, when the 'season' ends.
However you may just use this site to find like-minded people to play tennis against - it's up to you!
If you would like to join the AceTennis.net Singles or Doubles Ladder, it's free to join and all you need to do is register as a player, view the competition rules and then challenge a friend (old or new) to a game. Please do have a read through the rules but the main things you need to know are:
1) You can challenge anyone on the AceTennis.net Ladder who is up to 3 places higher than your own position (or, if you haven't yet played a match on the ladder, you may challenge anyone on it who is up to 3rd from bottom, or challenge another Registered Player who hasn't played their first match yet either to get you both on to the ladder).
2) Matches are best of 3 sets, with a normal tie-break deciding each set if the scores reach 6-6, including in the 3rd set if necessary. You can play on any tennis court, private or public, you do not have to be a member of a club.
3) Then send your result in to AceTennis.net and we'll update the Ladder for you!
If you're ultra-competitive, the aim is to finish top of the ladder by 31st October if the thought of entering the AceTennis.net Hall of Fame appeals to you, or you can just enjoy playing tennis for the love of the game!
